Ingredients:
1 lb London broil, cubed
1 tbsp garam masala powder
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ to 1 tsp of salt
5-10 grated mini carrots or 2 big carrots, grated
2 tsp. coriander leaves
1 finely chopped small onion
1 tsp ginger paste
½ tsp garlic chopped
½ tsp to 1 tsp fennel powder with ¼ tsp of black pepper
egg wash of 1 egg
2 puff pastry sheets thawed
Recipe:
Sautee beef with garam masala, black pepper, turmeric, water and salt.
Cook the beef through with all the spices and water until water is absorbed.
Grate carrots and mix in with beef along with onions, ginger, garlic, and fennel powder with black pepper.
Mix this very well and cook onions and carrots through. Turn off the heat and set aside to cool down.
Grind carrot and beef mixture in the food processor, cut puff pastry into rectangles or squares large enough to fill 1 tsp. of filling per square. Do not overfill because filling will come out the sides.
Use egg wash (slightly beaten egg with a little water mixed in) to seal the puff pastry, in a fold over method. Spread a little egg wash over each filled pastry.
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 min. Serve with store bought Asian sweet chili sauce.
